Hamilton fun bus for Auckland's Big Gay Out

Wed 23 Jan 2008 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

The Waikato's LGBT community has been invited to get on board a 'Priscilla'-style adventure bus trip going to Auckland's Big Gay Out family outdoor day on Sunday 10 February. Big Gay Out boys Jackson Gilmore, co-host of Hamilton Community Radio's gay programme Flat Out Pride, will join drag star Fuchia Fukada as hosts on "a camp bus trip of fun and fabulosity" leaving central Hamilton early in the morning and returning late in the evening. The Big Gay Out is New Zealand's largest outdoor LGBT event, attracting crowds of over 10,000 people across the full day of attractions. Hamilton's Big Gay Out bus will depart from the NZ AIDS Foundation office at 11 Ohaupo Road at approximately 9:30am - and its BYO alcohol. Bus tickets are $15 - book by contacting the NZAF's Hamilton office on 07 838 355 or via email at jackson@jwhitham.com.
