Sir Elton took his appreciative audience on a trip down memory yellow-brick-road with his legendary hits Daniel, Honky Cat, Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer, Philadelphia Freedom, Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word, Crocodile Rock and Bennie and the Jets, among many others. While on his brief visit, Sir Elton was gifted a specially-made Maori bird-feather cloak, in recognition of the entertainment the star has given New Zealanders and his commitment to returning to play in Aotearoa. Last night's show was Sir Elton's one concert in New Zealand - he's now flying off to Tasmania for a performance tomorrow night. The video below shows Sir Elton's performance of Rocket Man from his concert in Townsville, Queensland, earlier this week.
