Several gay fans of pop star Justin Timberlake say their throats are sore from cheering at his Auckland concert dates at the weekend and last night. Justin Timberlake "He was totally hot and did all his hits from his current album," says Nick Keegan, 23, who was at Timberlake's Future Sex Love Sounds concert on Saturday night. "He finished with SexyBack, which made the crowd just go wild. "It was one of the best stage shows I have ever seen, truly a very entertaining night. We were in the seated area, but had no need to be, as we were out of our seats, rocking along with Justin." Seb van der Zwan, 24, went to last night's concert - and says he's proudly wearing his Justin Timberlake tour T-Shirt at work today. "It was amazing. He put on a big show. I've never seen a white guy dance like that before. He's true pop royalty." Van der Zwan says there was an awesome laser light show as well - "so it was like a concert and fireworks show all in one." Concertgoer Dennis Petrone, 27, says he was lucky enough to be standing only a few rows back from the stage - "so there was lots of eye contact between me and him". "I think he totally played to me. It was very special," he says wistfully. Petrone says Timberlake got a little emotional at the end of the show. "He took it down a notch and had a talk to us. He promised us he'd always end his world tours with concerts in New Zealand." Some concert-goers GayNZ.com spoke to say they went to the official concert after party last night hoping to meet Justin there - but alas their favourite star wasn't in attendance. Timberlake is now flying home to Los Angeles after completing the global tour he began in January.
