Christchurch's award-winning charity-fundraising drag diva Miss Hollywood says she's planned a very special evening of Bingo for Christmas, to benefit Ronald McDonald House. The event will take place at her host venue Heaven's Above bar on Sunday 2 December. Miss Hollywood won an award for her charity fundraising work at the Christchurch Oscars event last month. Her regular Bingo evenings raise funds for a different worthy local organisation each month. Christchurch's Ronald McDonald House opened in 2003, with a mission to provide accommodation and support free of charge to families of children who need hospital care. Representatives from the house will be there on the Bingo night to thank everyone for their support of the charity. "We are still looking for businesses to come on board and support this very worthwhile fundraiser by kindly donating any prizes - big or small," says Miss Hollywood. "Christmas is a very important time, especially for kids, and we are hoping to raise hundreds of dollars."
