4:30PM: "If that's what Auckland wants, that's what Auckland deserves," says lesbian mayoral candidate Lisa Prager at news of John Banks' return to the queen city's top job. Lisa Prager Results show political activist Prager - whose campaign posters showed her in a cowboy hat with the slogan "Let's clean up this town" came in 6th place of the fifteen Auckland City candidates. "Politics is a rough and tumble game," says Prager of her campaigning experiences. "Auckland is just not ready for a lesbian cowgirl to be mayor - and that's fine by me. Is she disappointed at today's results? "A lot of positive things have come out of it from my perspective, so it's by no means a disappointment," she replies. "If anything, I've learnt a huge amount, and look forward to tackling it again next time."     Ref: GayNZ.com (m)
