Missing Hastings man seen on bus

Wed 3 Oct 2007 In: New Zealand Daily News

4PM: There has been a positive sighting of missing gay Hastings man Cameron Dormer, whose burnt out car was found near Katikati on Saturday. Police say Dormer was seen by a member of the public on a bus on Sunday, travelling from New Plymouth to Wellington, reports TVNZ. Detective Sergeant Mike Foster says that sighting has somewhat eased their fears for Dormer's safety, but they still have a multitude of unanswered questions. He says they are currently interviewing a man in Dormer's home town of New Plymouth about his mysterious disappearance. Detective Sergeant Foster won't say if the man is known to Dormer, or what involvement, if any, he had with the weekend's events. His partner Clinton spoke to ONE News on Tuesday, expressing his fears for Dormer's safety. "My life's been turned upside down. I just want him home."
