Primetime slot for TV's 'Sparkle on Sunday'

Local alternative music broadcaster Alt TV has again shifted the timeslot of New Zealand's only live gay chat and music show - this time to the primetime slot of 6pm Sunday evenings. Steven Oates Since making its debut in April, the programme has been a consistent ratings winner for the Sky channel, says Station Manager Bomber Bradbury. "Sparkle on Sunday is a hugely popular show", says Bradbury. "There are some exciting programming changes happening at Alt TV and we are thrilled to confirm Sparkle on Sunday will kick-off our handsome new Sunday night line-up", he says. Host Steven Oates is also pleased with the new time. “This is an exciting opportunity to reach a wider and more diverse audience”, he says. “There will be a few subtle changes made to the show to reflect the time and audience - such as the addition of regular contributors, more audience participation and giveaways.” Oates also reveals the show's set will soon get a makeover. "We have a few other surprises up our sleeve too but you will just have to tune in to find out what I mean." Alt TV is now only available on Sky channel 65.
