A reporter for American LGBT current affairs magazine The Advocate has asked presidential candidate Hillary Clinton: "How do you respond to the occasional rumour that you're a lesbian?" "People say a lot of things about me, so I really don't pay any attention to it," Clinton replied. She told news and features editor Sean Kennedy: "It's not true, but it is something that I have no control over. People will say what they want to say." Kennedy later told the US Daily News he's convinced. "I 100% believe she's a straight, heterosexual woman," he said. The senator was also quizzed on a variety of topics, including her official stance on gay marriage Vs. Civil Unions, and what becoming the first woman president of the US would mean. “I think it would be huge,” she responds. “For too long the right wing has tried to pit marginalized groups against marginalized groups and basically have a zero-sum game in American political life. And if I can break this barrier, I think it really lets the energy come out. People will feel that there's a greater inclusion -- and that they're a part of that inclusion.” The interview from the latest issue of The Advocate magazine is on the link below.
