The NZ Labour party's four gay/lesbian MP's will meet in Ponsonby this Sunday for an afternoon tea with Central Auckland's 'City Vision' council candidates, and all are invited to attend. Event poster Rainbow Labour MP's Maryan Street, Chris Carter, Charles Chauvel and Tim Barnett will host the City Vision afternoon tea at Dorothy's Sister café/bar at 265 Ponsonby Road. The event is a fundraiser for the centre-left City Vision team's campaign to be re-elected for Auckland City Council in the upcoming local body elections. The team contains several openly-LGBT people. Candidates Lindsey Rea, Bruce Kilmister, Christopher Dempsey, Dr Ian Scott, Leigh Kennaway and Evana Belich will be in attendance. Entry is by $10 donation to the City Vision campaign fund. City Vision Afternoon Tea, 2-5pm, Sunday 9th September, At Dorothy's Sister, 265 Ponsonby Road.
