Rainbow Wellington to fund local groups

Tue 21 Aug 2007 In: New Zealand Daily News

Rainbow Wellington has raised funds to share with GLBT groups within the Wellington region, and is asking for applications from groups planning "a one-off project which is of direct and demonstrable benefit to the GLBT community". This is the second time the community networking group has provided project assistance grants, says Rainbow Wellington's secretary Tony Reed. "Last time we gave out a little over $1,000, but the total this time may be rather more." Applicant organisations must be able to show that they have sought and gained support from other funders, and that they have drawn on their own resources as far as possible. Applications should be sent by 30 September 2007. Further details are posted on the Rainbow Wellington website, linked below.     Ref: Rainbow Wellington (m)
