97 pieces of art are up for grabs this Saturday at the first annual Grand Art Aid Auction on Auckland's North Shore, and hundreds of people have visited the Depot Artspace in Devonport to take a look at the works. Over 150 people turned up to the exhibition opening event last Saturday evening, says Roy Giddens, Chairperson of the Artaid Trust. Money raised at the auction will raise funds for the NZ AIDS Foundation, the Burnett Centre and Body Positive's local fight against HIV. The exhibition continues until Thursday 23rd Auguest at Devonport Artspace (28 Clarence Street, Devonport). The Live Auction, attended by the Prime Minister, will take place this Saturday 18th August at Bruce Mason Centre (cnr Hurstmere Road Ref: Art Aid (m)
