'Camp it Up' to remember Venom boss

Thu 16 Aug 2007 In: New Zealand Daily News

Hamilton's Venom club owner Nicholas Morgan will get a send-off to remember tomorrow with a funeral at Hamilton Gardens and an evening of "fabulousity and tributes" in his nightclub. Morgan died suddenly of a heart attack on Tuesday. Several tributes to him have been posted on GayNZ.com's message board. The death notice in the NZ Herald this morning quotes one of his favourite phrases: "Camp it Up!" The funeral will be held tomorrow (Friday) at 12pm, at Hamilton Park Pavilion in Hamilton Gardens (Cobham Drive). In the evening, the team at Venom nightclub (161 Victoria Street, Hamilton) say they will host a special event to remember and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, please contact Matt Jackson on 021 952 256, Andy Cox on 027 258 9839 or Jaime/Vudaur on 021 032 4297 for Koha/ Donations.     Ref: GayNZ.com, NZ Herald (m)
