Karangahape Road's Finale drag cabaret venue, and ever-popular Auckland gay dance party Salvation are both having their fourth birthdays in June, and have elaborate parties planned. Finale is celebrating their birthday Wednesday 6 June. The theme will be International Divas, and there will be prizes awarded for best dressed male, female and drag queen. The Divine Miss K will host the party, with performances from both K' Road venues Caluzzi and Finale on stage, joined by Buckwheat, Dee Zaa Star, the South Auckland Divas, star acts from Hamilton's Glamz! cabaret and Venom nightclub, Mia Slapper and Dawn Breaker from Wellington, guest singers Ramon, Helen Crown, Lady Ems and David Marris, and Bevan Keys will DJ. Some money raised from the night will be given to the Cartier Bereavement Charitable Trust.
