Who will become Mr Urge NZ Bear 2007?

Fri 2 Mar 2007 In: New Zealand Daily News

Calling all bears, wolves, otters, and admirers… Auckland's Urge Bar is seeking contestants for Mr Urge New Zealand Bear 2007. The K' Road bar owners Paul Heard and Alan Granville are looking for someone to follow in the footsteps of last year's winner Damian Calleja, who went on to triumph at Southern HiBearnation in Melbourne and earned a place competing in the US, as well as a coveted centrefold shoot in the latest Jack Magazine. The winner of Mr Urge New Zealand Bear 2007 will get return flights to Melbourne to represent Aotearoa in the biggest bears event in the southern hemisphere. Urge bar is looking for guys of all shapes and sizes who are up for a laugh and also keen to raise money for charity. All proceeds will go to Body Positive and the New Zealand AIDS Foundation. Last year over $800 was raised in just 20 minutes so Urge are looking to break that record this year. The competition takes place on Saturday 31st March but places are limited. “It was a great night last year and we want to make it even bigger and better this time around,” says Granville. More details can be found at http://www.urgebar.co.nz/ Contact Alan on 021 299-7610 or email urgebar@ihug.co.nz.     Ref: Urge (m)
