An autopsy has now been carried out on Gary Frisch, the co-founder of gay dating website Gaydar. Mr Frisch was discovered in the street on Saturday afternoon outside his eighth floor apartment, in Battersea, London. It is thought he either fell or jumped from the balcony. The autopsy found that the cause of death was multiple injuries. Further toxicology tests have been ordered and they will take some time, possibly up to six weeks. Police refused to comment on why those additional tests have been ordered. Mr Frisch, originally from South Africa, established Gaydar with his business partner and then-boyfriend Henry Badenhorst in 1999. The dating service now has 3.5 million users worldwide. A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman told PinkNews.co.uk: “We are treating the death as unexplained. Wandsworth CID are continuing to investigate the circumstances. “We are not saying it was accidental - it would not be for us to decide that - an inquest will decide that.” Similarly any decision that the case was one of suicide would be determined by an inquest. The police refused to comment on press reports that another man was in Mr Frisch's apartment at the time of the incident, 1pm on Saturday afternoon. It was also revealed by police that they have not formally identified the body, and therefore cannot officially confirm that it is Mr Frisch.
