Hunger-busting plea for Big Gay Out

Tue 23 Jan 2007 In: New Zealand Daily News

This year's Big Gay Out organiser is urgently appealing for more food vendors at the event. “We've just discovered that we don't have enough food stalls booked for the day,” says the NZ AIDS Foundation's Fundraising Events Manager Larry Jenkins. Sunday 11th February in Coyle Park, Point Chevalier will attract a potential customer base of 10,000. The annual event features a diverse line-up of top performers, a wide variety of LBGT community group stalls, a dance tent, bars and a focus on fun family events throughout the day. Food concession owners wanting to sells their wares at the Big Gay Out are invited to get in touch with Jenkins on email at: larry.jenkins@nzaf.org.nz, or phone: 09 300 6965.     Ref: GayNZ.com (m)
