Kiwi athletes at the World Out Games in Montreal have added four medals to their tally, in squash and race walking, bringing New Zealand's medal count to 31. Three Wellingtonians performed well in squash – Kerry Swinn won gold, and Mike Briden and John Kape each won a silver medal. Alan Benjamin of Christchurch won gold in the 5km race walk. Tomorrow, Saturday in Montreal, is the final day of competition for the inaugural Out Games, with the closing ceremony scheduled for the evening. Ref: GayNZ.com (d)
