World renown DJ LANGE is set to rock partygoers at events for Christchurch Pride, before heading to Auckland this weekend. Credited with being among the early pioneers of the trance genre, DJ LANGE's multimedia sets have featured in the world's top dance clubs since 1998. LANGE will play at Ministry in Christchurch on Friday night, coinciding with the city's annual Pride Week celebrations. M2, the team that staged the 2006 HERO Party in Auckland have brought LANGE to Christchurch for the first time, and hope to expand their presence there. "Hopefully partygoers will make the most of this opportunity and allow us to bring more top international DJs and sensational laser shows their way soon!" says Mike Modrich of M2. On Saturday, LANGE arrives to wow Auckland dance club fiends, with another party at Studio. UK-based LANGE is among the top selling DJs of our time, with total album sales estimated at 25 million copies. He has featured on two Now That's What I Call Music compilations and performed on Top of the Pops and the Pepsi Chart Show. LANGE is currently negotiating for a role in the hit US television series Lost, possibly appearing in episodes from as early as next year. "I'm a big fan of the show, but do not fear, I have no intentions of retiring from the music scene," said LANGE. "I love trance too much!"
