Queer TV station coming to NZ

Thu 24 Nov 2005 In: New Zealand Daily News

American LGBT television network Q Television has announced it will become available in Australasia through digital channel SelecTV. Q Television airs 24 hours a day, with 5 hours of live programming each day. "Our programming will fill a definite void in Australasia, where the GLBT audience is just as vocal and involved as it is in the States," says a QTV spokesperson. Q Television is a digital satellite channel, and therefore will only be available in some areas, and to households with digital channels installed.
