"Gay Panic Defence" denied

Fri 7 Oct 2005 In: New Zealand Daily News

Craig Ross, who shot his boss and sexually assaulted a woman, has been sentenced to a minimum non-parole period of 17 years. Ross claimed in his defence that his boss had made unwanted sexual advances toward him, which sent him into a rage and lead him to shoot farmer Robert Green in the back of the head and then kidnap a 30-year-old woman, holding her for two days and sexually assaulting her.
