At a Grey Power meeting in Kapiti yesterday, National Party leader Don Brash was quizzed about his party's views on homosexuality, family values and prostitution. To the crowd's apparent dismay, Brash said he has no problem with gay people formalising their relationships, and that he has no intention of scrapping Civil Union or prostitution legislation should National win the election. Brash changed his vote on the final reading of the Civil Union Bill, voting against it because he says it should have gone to referendum.
