The Ministry of Health has now confirmed that HIV positive people will be amongst those given priority access to a full strength three-virus influenza vaccine. A spokesperson for the ministry says that there are now sufficient full strength vaccines arriving from suppliers for all young and older people plus those with chronic illnesses to be vaccinated against this winter's likely influenza strains. She says this latter category is now confirmed to include people with HIV. The three-virus vaccine will be available from 26 April.
