A New Zealander is among the Australian Fab Five set to host the down under version of Queer Eye For The Straight Guy. 31-year-old Liston Williams will be the 'culture' expert, which has been renamed “life” expert for Australian audiences. He plays piano, sings and loves all kinds of music, and has travelled extensively throughout Asia, Africa, Middle East, USA and Europe. He was brought up by his grandparents in New Zealand, moving to Melbourne at the age of 16 to live with his aunt and uncle and to pursue acting while finishing his high school studies. He's studied acting in New York, Los Angeles, and the prestigious West Australian acting school WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts), before moving on to play the lead in Cats for a year in Europe before going on to work in events and stage production in Sydney for a number of years – including Mardi Gras 1999 and the Sydney Olympic games in 2000.
