Make gays illegal says Tamaki in hate march

Sat 7 Aug 2004 In: New Zealand Daily News

Homosexuality should be made illegal again, and moves to legalise gay unions should be stopped. That's the message Brian Tamaki and members of his Destiny Church sent to the public today as they marched down Queen St in Auckland. Homosexuality is morally wrong and should be against the law, according to Tamaki, and allowing gays and lesbians to marry will be another step for New Zealand along the slippery slope towards moral decay. "I definitely think we should be revisiting that particular law, because that one has been a major doorway, if you like, to a proliferation of all sorts of sexual problems," he said on radio this afternoon.
