Destiny rallies its troops

Sun 25 Jul 2004 In: New Zealand Daily News

Destiny Church pastor Brian Tamaki says more than 20,000 people are expected outside Parliament for his anti-civil union rally in August. Tamaki says convoys and buses will converge on Parliament in their thousands at lunchtime on Monday 23 August, and he expects his protest to be endorsed by other churches in the next two weeks. The Campaign for Civil Unions is planning a silent vigil to protest homophobia for the same day and time.
