Over 2,000 responses have been received so far for the Lavender Islands survey, conducted online and billed as the most comprehensive study to date of New Zealand's gay and lesbian communities. Project leader Dr Mark Henrickson says the response shows people have clearly taken the study to heart, but still wishes to encourage more participants. The survey runs until the end of June.
