Carson leaves NZAF after 13 years

Sun 11 Apr 2004 In: New Zealand Daily News

The NZAF's deputy director Anne Carson has announced her resignation after 13 years in the position. Executive Director Rachael LeMesurier says Carson has made an outstanding contribution to the HIV/AIDS campaign in New Zealand, comments which have been echoed by former NZAF Executive Director and colleague Warren Lindberg. “Anne came to the AIDS Foundation at a critical time in our response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic,” he says. “Her work was fundamental to the Foundation's continued professional growth and its reputation nationally and internationally as a respected and effective health promotion organisation.” Carson leaves on April 26 to join her partner in their coffee roasting business in Whangaroa in the Far North.
