Shortland St's gay Dr Death killed off

Sun 9 Nov 2003 In: New Zealand Daily News

One of TV soap Shortland Street's most openly gay characters has been killed off, bludgeoned to death and thrown in the chiller of the local bar. The hunt for the killer of Geoff "Dr Death" Greenlaw, the gay euthanasia-happy quack played by gay actor Andrew Laing, is likely to be a major plot line leading up to the series regular pre-Christmas cliff-hanger episode. Programme publicist Rachel Lorimer says the murderer will not be revealed until the last day of the last week of this year's series.
