Miss Mole's fantasy Friday

Sun 2 Nov 2003 In: New Zealand Daily News

Christchurch drag personality Miss Mole, organiser of the 21st annual Oscars party honouring the work of gay and lesbian Cantabrians and their friends, has told the Christchurch Press all about her fantasy Friday. "My Perfect Friday Night would start with finishing work, going home after a hard day's work,” says Mole, who describes herself as a sex symbol, star and hooker. "Hopping into a beautiful bubble bath, slapping on some beautiful makeup and some clothes – the most seductive gown I could find – and heading out to the bars and the circuits around town. “I'd be heading out with my best girlfriends, two of them. We're like the terrible trio around town – getting into all sorts of trouble with all sorts of riff-raff around the place. "We'd make sure we found men with money who'd take us out for a beautiful meal first – wine and dine us. Then we become, well, kind of available, but if there's not enough money, not enough wine, not enough dinner, they would be kicked to the kerb, and we'd go home alone. Have a nightcap at home, eat lots of food, and then go to bed, before getting ready for Saturday."
