Ellis book author protests biased interview

Fri 12 Sep 2003 In: New Zealand Daily News

Peter Ellis book author Lynley Hood has lodged a formal complaint with TVNZ over the treatment she received as a guest on “Edwards At Large” last month. "My complaint is that I was ambushed into taking part in an interview that was no more than a sustained attack on my character and credibility, and that in making that attack Dr Edwards did not act as an independent and impartial broadcaster," says Hood in her complaint. Hood alleges that Edwards was politically motivated in his decision to play “devil's advocate” during the 16 August interview, a full transcript of which is available on the Peter Ellis website.
