NZ at gay rugby world cup

Fri 29 Aug 2003 In: New Zealand Daily News

New Zealand will be represented at the Bingham Cup, an international rugby competition for gay and bisexual men, in London next year. Members from local team Ponsonby Heroes are setting up a committee to organise a team to go, with the aim being to have a team made up of players from all over the country. “Due to our geographical location and good old NZ's currency, we will be approaching various potential sponsors to assist our team in getting to the UK,” said team manager Brent Robinson in Express.
