Wellington Pride Festival Event Guide

Sun 5 Mar 2017 In: Features View at NDHA

The Wellington Pride Festival ǀ Tū whakahīhī e Te Whanganui-ā-Tara has kicked off this weekend and with 55 events taking place in just over two weeks you know Wellington is the place to be right now.   If you are lucky enough to be the Wellington area and want to check out some of the diverse events on offer, you can pick up a physical copy of the schedule at queer friendly venues but if you’re into saving paper the schedule has been uploaded on the festival website for all to see. If you’re planning on making the trip to the capital to join the celebrations, be sure to mark March 18 in your calendar. With four big events taking place on the final Saturday of the festival, you’ll be disappointed if you miss out. For a full list of the schedule, including whether or not an event is held at an accessible venue, head to the Wellington Pride Festival website. - 5th March 2017
