Māori TV to make history at the Akl Pride Parade

Māori Television is to become the very first New Zealand TV broadcaster to ever have a float in a Pride Parade. The Queens of Pangaru will feature on the first-ever Māori Television float. The station will feature in this Saturday’s Auckland Pride Parade even bringing practical matchmaking advice to parade goers in te reo. Keeley Sander, Māori Televisions’ Head of Marketing and Brand says “Our presence at The Pride Festival is a show of support for our takatāpui, both on and off screen and to promote te reo outside of the expected.” Sander says what is important to Māori TV is the protection
