A UK man has been jailed for 24 years after being found guilty of murdering a police officer he met on Grindr and partially dissolving his victim's body in acid. An Italian national living in London, 50-year-old Stefano Brizzi chopped up Gordon Semple after strangling him in April and attempted to dissolve the body in a bath of acid. Brizzi was apparently high on crystal meth, or P, at the time and neighbours began complaining about a "revolting smell." Poice found a bath with Semple's partially-dissolved body in acid and a bucket with his head in it. The jury heard how Semple’s DNA had been found on kitchen utensils, in the oven and on chopsticks.
