One man is dead and three others injured after a gunman opened fire in a New York state gay bar. Police have variously described the shooting, which happened around 2am New York time in the Rocks bar in the state capital Albany, as "not an isolated incident" and "not random." They say they don't believe the bar was specifically targeted. Those injured include two men and one woman, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The shooting happened during a private event being hosted at the bar. The circumstances of the attack have not been released.
