Thu 24 Nov 2016 In: International News View at Wayback View at NDHA

A gay man in the UK has been found guilty of the murders of four young gay men he connected up with on dating apps. Stephen Port Stephen Port, 41, was also convicted of four rapes, four assaults by penetration and ten counts of administering a substance with intent after overdosing his victims, all in their 20s, with the date rape drug GHB. The jury was told he spiked the men's drinks in order to render them unconscious in order to rape them, having viewed extreme pornography online. Human rights campaigners have accused the police of not acting quickly enough when the first of the men's bodies was found months before the following attacks occurred. A number of other men have come forward saying they believe Port drugged them as well.
