Dunne opposes gay-friendly parenting bill

United Future leader Peter Dunne says his party will oppose the Government's new Care of Children bill, which will extend legal guardianship rights to same-sex couples. Dunne says that his party could not support some provisions contained in the bill. “These include the wide-open definition of fatherhood and the brief time required before someone can become a child's guardian,” he says.
