Wellington’s dazzling LGBTI choir, The Glamaphones are treating audiences to a special concert this Saturday night, remembering and commemorating those who have passed away. The Glamaphones celebrating HLR30 Photo: Alex Efimoff With a programme of choral music that has been written as a way to remember those who have passed, the concert is drawing from a rich history that ranges from Mozart’s Requiem to composers of the 20th century such as John Tavener and modern classics by Eric Whitacre. The All Souls concert will be led by Rachel Hyde, her fourth performance as the choir’s musical director and follows Glamaphones performances for HLR30.
