Nick Forbes The last concert of the year for Auckland's GALS choir will make the most of its venue, the Pitt Street Methodist Church, to feature its musical director's skills as an organist. Forbes is a native of Christchurch where he cut his choral skills in the Cathedral Choir before going on to master organ playing and study music in this country and the UK. He is a freelance music teacher, opera director and for several years has directed the Coca-Cola Choir at the Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park. The concert will be presented on Saturday November 19 from 5.30pm. GALS will also feature in one of the country's biggest choral events, the VoCo Voice Concert on September 24th at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell.
