Former PMs and elite NZers defend Ellis

Sun 8 Jun 2003 In: New Zealand Daily News

A new petition, which has already gained support from former Prime Ministers and some of NZ's most distinguished legal minds, is the latest in a series of efforts to clear Peter Ellis's name. National MPs Don Brash and Katherine Rich are responsible for starting the petition, which calls for a Royal Commission of Enquiry. Brash and Rich say they were compelled to act after reading author Lynley Hood's expose on the Ellis case, A City Possessed, which they both found disturbing.
