Wigarama dazzled the Auckland LGBTI scene for the ninth year on Saturday night, with a talented group of performers taking to the stage to raise money for the Cartier Trust. Photo by Andrea Cartier Trust Founder and Trustee Karen Richie says “The night was just absolutely wonderful”. “I can’t express it enough, Wigarama is always a night of community spirit, everybody has a great night and the shows that were held on the night were just magnificent from all of the entertainers.” With a lineup including some of the countries hottest drag talents, Richie says “They all are talented in their own way and there was a lot of young drag queens, group shows from different organisations and there was such amazing talent amongst them all.” “Tess and Buckwheat and Steven Oates did an amazing job.”
