NZ: Sacked presenter punished in TV ad

Tue 20 May 2003 In: New Zealand Daily News

Sacked QN presenter Jonathan Marshall will appear on-screen this Thursday in a TV commercial for a chain of adult shops. Marshall has been employed by Eroxxx adult shops to appear in their commercial which will be aired during the new Sydney-sourced gay programme, DV8, starting on Auckland's Triangle TV. The commercial was rewritten at the last minute to capitalise on Marshall's notoriety as a paparazzi photographer, a sideline which led to his sacking from Queer Nation. Sources observing the filming say part of the commercial features Marshall being punished by a drag queen wielding sexual appliances.
