Grief and commitment noted in AIDS messages

Being proud as we grieve for people lost to HIV and their families, and a call to educate new generations safe sex commitments, are the themes of messages from the Governor General and Prime Minister on the eve of the AIDS Candlelight Memorial events. "Remembering the Cause, Renewing Our Commitment" is the theme for this Sunday's event, says Kevin Baker of the NZ AIDS Foundation. “The community is invited to come celebrate and remember the lives of friends, lovers and family members who have died from AIDS at one of the Candlelight Memorial events being held in ten centres around the country,” he says.
