Attacker abuses, stabs gay man in NY subway

A gay man has been stabbed in the New York subway by a man who shouted "you faggot" at him then fled. file photo of 110th St Station The 28-year old victim was traveling with his boyfriend and sister when the attacker shouted at him as the train pulled into the 110 Street station in the Harlem area of Manhattan. He then stabbed the gay man in the side of the chest before fleeing. The victim is in a serious but stable condition in hospital. Police are treating the stabbing as a hate crime.
