Webseries creator hopes to film more LGBTI content

Thu 14 Jul 2016 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

The second episode of Two Naked Gay Guys goes live tomorrow after over 105,000 views of episode one.   Still from Two Naked Gay Guys Two Naked Gay Guys is a new LGBTI comedy web-series following two gay guys who meet up for a one-off no strings attached hook-up, only to find that one time isn’t enough. Lucas, a charmer who likes to keep things casual, begins to question his views on intimacy while the more shy Dean finds himself trying to work out what he wants. Following the great success of episode one, along with episode two the crew are launching a Patreon page to allow supporters to help them create more LGBTI content and filmmaker Conan McKegg says he is currently developing two other LGBTI web-series that he hopes to get funded. The first is "Being Jessica" - a documentary-style comedy about a transgender woman saving for her surgery while being followed by a quirky crew. The other show “Loved", is a comedy drama that focuses on a forty-something gay man dealing with anxiety and relationships in a post marriage equality world. It aims to show the differences of growing up gay now as opposed to the 80s and 90s. McKegg says he hopes the generousity of the public via Patreon will help the team produce two episodes of great LGBTI content a month. To support the creation of more LGBTI web-series’ check out their Patreon page. You can view episode two of Two Naked Gay Guys from Friday 15th here, just note it’s not safe for viewing at work.
