As we head into the 30th anniversary of Homosexual Law Reform this Saturday a few examples of the rancour that spewed forth from the anti-reform campaigners have caught our eye. The clippings we feature come from the NZ Herald's coverage of the 1985/86 campaign to free gay and bi men from criminality. Click the links below for today's examples... Kiwi-born and bred homo-hating Christians Sir Peter Tait and Keith Hay invoke God, launch a petition and decide that we are mentally ill. And an imported American religious ranter and strategist predicts advanced levels of degeneracy along the lines of the Californian model(!) ] Tomorrow one of the most disgracefully inhumane aspects of the anti-law reform campaign is summed up in an awful paid advert which uses the emerging tragedy of the HIV/AIDS epidemic as a weapon against us. And the Salvation Army, despite their image of being sooo caring and sharing, want us medically treated to remove our affliction of homosexuality. GayNZ.com Daily News staff - 7th July 2016
