Helen Clark will be delivering a message via video to the LGBTI community at the Rainbow Gala Extravaganza in Auckland next weekend.   Image: Sarah Lee Executive member of Rainbow Auckland, Koro Dickinson says “Helen Clark, as a long-time supporter of the LGBTIQ community and one of the MPs instrumental in the passing of the Homosexual Law Reform Act in the mid-1980s will deliver a video message from New York to those attending the GALA.” The Gala is set to be a fabulous night out with guests including Fran Wilde and perfomances by Mika Haka, The Topp Twins and Annie Crummer, and the night will be a chance to celebrate 30 years of Homosexual Law Reform. “We’re grateful she could take time out from her busy job as the Administrator of UN Development Programme and her campaign to become the next UN Secretary-General,” says Dickinson.
