New transgender organisation, Tranzaction has had its first meeting and has expressed interest in supporting and advocating for the trans community in Christchurch. On Wednesday 18 May, ‘Tranzaction’ had is first meeting at the New Zealand Aids Foundation board room in Christchurch. The group is led by Lynda Whitehead, who resigned as the President of Agender on 24 April. Whitehead says, “Our aims are support, advocacy for all Transgender people regardless of age. "At the moment we are limited in our resources and intend to concentrate on Christchurch and its environs, however we will help all we can those in outlying districts
