InsideOUT seeks part-time Schools Coordinator

InsideOUT is seeking a someone on a part-time basis for five months to fill the role of Schools Coordinator.   The position, funded by the ANZ Staff Foundation, will support the national youth charity’s growth and the Coordinator will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with schools and school groups. The creation and delivery of a national network for schools with rainbow diversity groups or queer-straight alliance will also be a key task as will overseeing and delivering the monthly Wellington QSA Leader group and supporting InsideOUT in projects such as the Day of Silence. National Coordinator of InsideOUT, Tabby Besley, says "InsideOUT is in an exciting period of growth at the moment. We're looking forward to bringing someone on board to support our work with rainbow diversity groups in schools as the need for it has continued to grow since InsideOUT started this work four years ago. The Schools Coordinator position will enable us to map for the first time exactly where all these groups are, how many are currently existing and to really support staff and students across Aotearoa to make their schools safer places for young people in our communities."
