London barrister avoids jail after chemsex death

A top London Barrister has avoided jail after his teenage boyfriend died from an overdose of chemsex drugs.   Henry Hendon 18 year old Miquel Jimenez died in January 2015 after he overdosed on chemsex drugs at a party. His boyfriend, celebrity Barrister Henry Hendron was facing a number of charges related to his death. Police found 82 grams of Mephedrone and 482ml of GBL in Hendron’s flat and his fingerprints on the jars and envelopes that contained the drugs. The Barrister admitted that he had purchased the drugs for himself and Jimenez to use and to on-sell to friends. Pleading not guilty last month to two counts relating to possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply, Hendron has now been sentenced, receiving 140 hours of community service with an 18 month supervision order.
